Lower Farm Stables has been running for almost 20 years. Until December 2004, the main part of the business was teaching clients to ride. As a BHS approved centre, the riding school was very successful and always received glowing reports from the BHS inspectors. We decided however, that it was time for a change, and as we had also run a livery yard alongside the riding school, we decided to make this our full time occupation.
We were very excited by this new venture and we made a number of improvements to the centre before it officially re-opened in the spring of 2005. Please see the facilities page for more details.
In August 2007, we were awarded the British Horse Society Outstanding Status. Our yard was one of only eleven worldwide to receive this award that year!
