Yard Manager: Kate Gregory
|
 Kate has run her own riding school/livery yard for the last 15 years and has much experience dealing with a large range of horses. She gained her BHSIsm certificate in 1996 and has ridden competitively in most disciplines. Her current horse is working at Advanced Medium level dressage, but has also competed successfully showjumping.
She has had much experience with breaking and training young horses, and has retrained difficult horses to help them achieve their competitive potential, believing that correct basic training will improve every horse.
She has particular interest in the “holistic” care of the horse, believing that correct bitting, footcare, saddling, feeding etc, in a relaxed atmosphere can make enormous differences to the horses’ potential performance.
As an NVQ assessor, she has worked for Abingdon and Witney College, training students of all levels in riding and stable management. She has also almost 20 years experience of teaching clients from novice to advanced level.
Kate is available to teach clients and their horses to all levels, and is on hand to give advice on all aspects of your horse’s care.

First Groom: Natalie Downes
|
Natalie has been riding and owning horses for 40 years. She has worked at hunting and livery yards whilst studying for BHSAI exams. She has competed in all spheres from pony club to show jumping and hunter trials. She currently owns an ex polo pony.
Abi has been riding since the age of twelve and has owned horses since she was 14. She attended Moulton College for a year studying for her BHS exams. She currently owns an ex polo pony and a shire cross which she hopes to compete in her spare time this year.
Mel has completed her BHS Stage 1 and is working towards her BHS Stage 2 at Lower Farm. She has a Fds in Equine Studies from Shuttleworth College which was completed in 2007. Prior to working at Lower Farm she has worked on Showing yards and stud work. She has worked with horses for approx 10 years and takes a keen interest in every horse at the farm. She compete he own horse at Affiliated Dressage and Showing and hopes to one day compete at HOYS.
