• We do not hold a deposit and our fees are charged in arrears on the last Saturday of the month, although your livery charges are calculated weekly. Our payment terms are 14 days. Outstanding amounts beyond this period will carry cumulative charge of 10% per month for each month outstanding. Each invoice you receive will detail any outstanding amounts and interest charges levied.
• No horse may permanently leave the yard without outstanding accounts being settled.
• Staff are at the yard until 5pm every day. Owners riding after this time will need to put their own horses “to bed”. Horses can be left tacked up for owners, and all equipment (feed, hay etc) can be left outside the box to facilitate this. Please be aware there is always someone on the premises 24 hours a day in case of emergencies
• Extra services will be charged for. This includes clipping, (prices start from £15) shoeing, worming and all services from vets, farriers or chiropractors. Please be aware that we do not charge any extra on your extra costs. For example many yards make a small profit on Farrier’s costs or charge an extra pound or two for shavings. The price we pay is the price you pay, so you benefit from our bulk buying.
• All tack used before 4.30pm will be cleaned that day. Any tack used after this time will be cleaned the following morning.
• All straw is included in the price. Any other bedding can be accommodated but will be charged at cost price. There may be an initial charge to set the box up with your chosen bedding. This will be the total number of bales at cost price less £4. (the cost of setting up a straw box)
• We supply good quality medow hay that is soaked unless requested otherwise. This is available on an “ad-lib” basis at no extra cost, however we reserve the right to restrict hay to horses that are wasteful with it. We can’t offer a discount for those wanting hay alternatives, but we will store it at no extra cost.
• We will not pay for hay alternatives, feed supplements, bandages, veterinary products or fly repellent sprays. Any products used from the yards own stock, must be replaced.
• We cannot take any responsibility for the loss or theft of horses, cars or belongings whilst on our premises.
• We request that your horse’s flu vaccination is kept up to date at all times, unless the horse has a medical reason to be exempt.
• We may need to charge you if your horse damages our property. General wear and tear will not be charged.
• We strongly suggest you have insurance cover for your horse and tack.
• Exercise is included 4 times a week with Full livery. Extra exercise is charged at £12 per 45 minute session for all livery services.
• You will have the same groom each day except on their days off and holidays. You reserve the right to request a change of groom.
• There is no smoking on the yard.
• No dogs please.
